The Montessori Casa program offers an environment where children between the ages of 2.5 and 6 can explore their interests and discover their passions.

Montessori’s Casa program is a mixed age grouping spanning the years of 2.5-6. Our program is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education, reflecting our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and care. Guided by our belief that every child should have access to authentic Montessori education, Belleville Montessori School is proud to participate in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) initiative.

This federal–provincial program helps licensed child care centres make early education more affordable for families. Through our participation, parent fees have been reduced by more than 50%, allowing more children the opportunity to experience the benefits of a Montessori education within a warm, inclusive, and nurturing community.

At Belleville Montessori School, we take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child in our care. Our Casa classrooms maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio of 1:8, allowing educators to provide individualized attention and guidance for each child’s unique learning journey.

We provide healthy, balanced meals and snacks daily, supporting children’s physical well-being and helping them establish lifelong healthy habits. Our beautiful, spacious outdoor yard offers ample room for exploration, play, and discovery. Children enjoy two hours of outdoor time each day, meeting Ministry of Education requirements while promoting physical development, social interaction, and a love of nature.

To ensure the highest level of safety and professionalism, all staff members hold current CPR and First Aid certification and have completed a Vulnerable Sector Check. Families can feel confident knowing their children are cared for by experienced, qualified, and compassionate educators in a secure and stimulating environment that supports both growth and joy in learning.

Our son loved his time at the Belleville Montessori School. He became more confident, independent, and curious every day. Belleville Montessori has been more than a daycare or school program for our children. They have learned and grown in a caring and supportive environment where they have been encouraged to take risks, try new things, and make new friends. I enrolled my child in the Belleville Montessori at 3 years old. She joined Tadger's Casa class for three years before graduating to Shari's primary class until the end of Grade 3. Our experience at Montessori was remarkable, and my child still talks about her teachers and experiences there (she is now in high school). Montessori set the benchmark for education and learning for her, and set a strong foundation of valuable skills for self-directed learning. The student-led learning environment, multi-grade/age classrooms, made for the best early schooling experience for my child.
